The Next Level of Online Ordering

Sandwich Finder and Soup Finder

Perrill custom-developed Sandwich Finder and Soup Finder features for E&G’s online ordering process, allowing users to easily craft the right meal and know where to find it. The Sandwich Finder was built for users to select a sandwich based on a set of desired ingredients, while the Soup Finder shows which of E&G’s many locations have which soups. Perrill also adapted existing Aloha code from the Expression Engine to WordPress for users to view loyalty and gift card balances while ordering.

Franchise Functionality

Erbert & Gerbert’s has franchise locations throughout the Midwest, so Perrill took steps to keep the stores aligned and operating smoothly. A permission system was set up so changes by franchises could easily be reviewed and approved by the corporate office. Menu data for different locations can be manually modified in the backend per location or in bulk by uploading a spreadsheet to a custom-designed module that deploys changes to all locations. Perrill also integrated an interactive map with franchise locations to help customers find the location nearest them.

Perrill conducted a series of discovery interviews with E&G’s leadership to determine the goals of the company and the website and to help craft a strategy that included KPIs, various page elements, and the layout of the sitemap. From there, the site’s content, design, and development were executed to ultimately result in a responsive design capable of functioning across all devices.
